Tam App requires the user’s ID to confirm the user’s identity and prevent any ambiguities and any fraudulent users from joining the platform. The State of Kuwait and anti-money laundering authorities require the confirmation of users that buy products online to help prevent any money laundering or scam users. The ID is kept safe with Tam and will only be shared with legal authorities if required so.

Users may bid on products by simply using the bid button on the auction. Users must have a minimum balance to bid on products.

Tam app handles local deliveries in -house to ensure the safe delivery of customer’s products. The customer also has the option to deliver his own product if he wishes to do so. For International deliveries, Tam has a partnership agreement with Fedex to handle its deliveries. Customers can track their shipments for both local and international shipments through the My Shipments tab in Tam app.

Tam app is licensed in the State of Kuwait for the organization of auctions, safe handling of customer’s money, delivery of expensive products, application and website designs and handling, and generation of electronic receipts. (The licenses can be viewed here).
